Speedflex:

Project Overview: To shoot 100 hours of content, as well as creating all the marketing and promo assets.

Speedflex is a truly revolutionary HITT training concept. Trainer led, heart rate monitored sessions delivering all benefits of HITT without the negative effects usually associated with high intensity training. “HITT without the hurt.”
To provide hair and makeup to the stars and fitness models for the promotional material of Speedflex Blade, an at home version of the Speedflex machine. Models were to look as though they were working out at home to ensure an authentic look.

Challenges

The shoot took place on the hottest 10 days of the year!! Luckily I packed kit accordingly knowing that not only was the weather roasting, the talent would be working up a lot of sweat during the workout footage.

Hero products on this shoot were most definitely Mac Studio Fix Mattifine 12 hour shine control primer. I used this mainly on the guys keeping unwanted shiny faces at bay. The other must haves were Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer and the Hydro Setting Spray which not only kept everything in place but also worked perfectly as a cooling mist. For all the girls I used the Vieve Eye Wands in varying shades but keeping it very pared back and tonal to achieve an effortless look. I used products that I knew would perform well in heat and under a lot sweat and they didn’t disappoint.
